AZAHAR Foundation operates in the United Kingdom through a fiscal sponsor. Prospero World, UK Charity number 1163952 is the fiscal sponsor of AZAHAR Foundation through their charity adoption program.
Prospero receives donations in support of AZAHAR Foundation’s work. Our sponsor is also able to claim Gift Aid – a UK government scheme that allows charities to claim an extra 25p for every £1 donated to them. This enables AZAHAR Foundation to receive increased financial support through a matching scheme.
Fiscal sponsorship allows our foundation to receive donations in a tax efficient manner from UK donors and provides UK donors with peace of mind as well as tax deductible receipts for the charitable donations they have made.
